The Disciple Project
There is nothing quite like it in the church! Imagine people of all ages, from different cultures (and countries) coming together to learn things they are most passionate about for the purpose of serving our world as a Christian leader!
This week-long learning community, held at Texas Lutheran University, includes people who have finished 8th grade through adults. Participants are part of a large community, as well as committing to one of over a dozen learning tracks, where they gain skills and deepen their biblical and theological understandings in their area of passion.
Each year tracks are designed to meet the changing world we live in. Led by teams of trained professionals and emerging leaders who offer their gifts, The Disciple Project is one of the most unique experiences in our church. Together we enjoy incredible Christian music from nationally respected artists, challenging Bible study, cross-generational conversations and cross-cultural giftedness.
We are committed to four values that inform our learning:
• Being open to God's Call
• Practicing Grace
• Exploring gifts and passion
• Being a cross-generational Christian community
